Random Thoughts:
- Difficult Writing Day brought to you by lack of motivation, competing ideas, and complete emotional collapse
- Apparently writing biotechnological babble is a great way to write a lot of words quickly.  I did today's entire word count in an hour.

Small Snippet of Novel:
“Yes, of course. I believe that you are already aware that we’ve been doing targeted research toward curing and reversing the effects of several debilitating diseases affecting the nervous system. One of those targets is a disease called Rook-Jarrard’s Disease. Rook-Jarrard’s is characterized by a virus that takes up residence in the brain tissue and systematically disrupts the neuronal connections. Early symptoms of Rook-Jarrard’s disease can look remarkable similar to several pre-Space diseases like Alzheimer’s Disease and Parkinson’s Disease. Naturally those diseases have been long eradicated but it is an interesting fact for those of us who are interested in the characterization of disease development. But, I digress. Rook-Jarrard’s disease presents an interesting puzzle in that it is one of the few viruses that can cross the blood-brain barrier.
